Our client, an Australian-owned manufacturer, is expanding their manufacturing team due to continued growth and is looking for an experienced Fitter & Turner/ Machinist to join the team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of machining, fitting and assembly, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
You will work both independently and as part of a team, helping to ensure production standards are maintained.

Your responsibilities

- Machining manufactured parts
- Modifying and maintaining machine components, tooling and parts
- Fitting and assembly
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Reading and working from technical and engineering drawings
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard




- Following workplace health and safety procedures

Hours Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification or equivalent
- Experience machining across different machining centers
- Experience machining to engineering drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
- Fitting and assembly experience is highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
