Multi-award-winning WHITSUNDAY JETSKI TOURS is looking for an amazing addition to our water sports team base on the beautiful Hayman Island.

WJT currently manages the powered watersports activities for Hayman Island including but not limited to

- Half day Snorkel Tours
- Half day Beach Tours
- Outer Reef Snorkel Tours
- Jetski Tours

We are currently seeking an experienced vessel master to complement our existing totally awesome team (just ask us) on island to cover our seven-day operation. Our focus is to deliver exceptional guest experiences to Hayman Islands in house guests, each and every time in alignment with the Islands expectations.

This role will be island based and will be required to align with the expectations of the standards of the resort.

About the Role

The Master will be responsible for the daily efficient operation of the various vessel tours whilst maintaining excellence in guest experience, safety, crew management and reliability at all times.

The Master must ensure the vessel maintains compliance with all relevant local and governing laws and company policies and is responsible for the implementation and verification of the Safety Management System onboard.

Essential Requirements

- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Vessel Master in Tourism
- Master < 24m Certificate of Competency
- MED 3 or higher
- Senior First Aid, CPR O2

Desirable

As the position will form part of the watersports team, which includes our Jet Skis, there will be a requirement to be trained across the fleet.

- A PWC license

We are looking for a minimum 12-month commitment, so this position is not suitable for those looking only for their 88 days or a short-term role.
