Yura Yungi Medical Services (YYMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that has been providing holistic and culturally safe healthcare to the people of Halls Creek and surrounding communities for over 40 years. Position Overview

Recruitment & Compliance plays a crucial role within the HR team, providing operational support focused on recruitment, compliance, documentation, and reporting. This position ensures that HR practises are efficient, compliant, and culturally safe throughout the organisation.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of HR operations and current employment legislation,



complemented by strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment processes, maintaining HR records, and supporting staff training and onboarding.

- Certificate in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related disciplines (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated understanding of Fair Work legislation and ability to apply it effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and discretion with sensitive matters.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly Employment Hero, and Microsoft 365.
- Commitment to culturally safe practises and effective collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Current “C” Driver’s Licence and National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $90,000, depending on qualifications.
