About the role

The Manager Portfolio Assurance & Capability - Major Agribusiness Clients (MAC) is a specialist credit execution, quality assurance, operational risk and capability support role responsible for strengthening operational excellence across the MAC portfolio.



The role will act as a custodian of credit execution quality by undertaking structured sampling and review of approved credit transactions, initially focusing on the existing MAC portfolio and subsequently monitoring of the end-to-end lending lifecycle from credit approval through to documentation, settlement, covenant establishment system maintenance and ongoing portfolio management.

The primary purpose of the role is to identify process inefficiencies, control, documentation of processes and training opportunities across the MAC Manager and Relationship Analyst (RA) teams. Through independent review, root cause analysis, process design, coaching, continuous improvement initiatives and risk-based recommendations, the role identifies process inefficiencies, documentation inconsistencies, control weakness and capability gaps.
