About the role

DIG HQ is a new start up and growing plant and equipment hire business servicing the Perth and outer Perth markets, with a focus on dry hire/DYI micro/mini & mid size excavators, skid steers/track loaders, mini dumpers, attachments and associated equipment. This is a key hands-on role helping grow the business. This isn't necessarily a traditional management position.

Key responsibilities

- Managing and coordinating equipment hires

- Dealing with customer enquiries and bookings

- Business development and building relationships with contractors and customers

- Organising equipment availability, deliveries and collections

- Helping maintain the presentation and organisation of the yard and equipment

- Identifying new hire opportunities and equipment requirements

- Helping develop systems and processes as the business grows

- General hands-on assistance where required

About you

- Experience in plant and equipment hire, civil construction, earthmoving, machinery sales, hire coordination or similar industries

- Previously involved in managing hires,



customers, business development or day-to-day operations

- Strong industry knowledge
