Based in Hawthorn, NIIM Clinic is a large integrative medical clinic, combining general practice with wellness-focused therapies including naturopathy, Eastern Medicine and allied health support. We provide integrative specialist care for our diverse patient community, with a strong focus on preventive health, holistic wellbeing and chronic disease management

The Role

As an Integrative GP, you will provide high‑quality comprehensive general practice care across the lifespan, combining conventional general practice with a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary, integrative and holistic approach to promote long‑term wellness.

Conduct thorough consultations, examinations and investigations to diagnose and manage patients, and consider lifestyle, supplements and evidence-based complementary therapies alongside conventional medicine. Your knowledge of integrative and lifestyle medicine, and ability to assess and diagnose underlying drivers of chronic and complex illness will be key to your success.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centred general practice care in an integrative practice setting
- Manage acute and chronic conditions, with a strong focus on preventive health
- Collaborate with allied health and complementary providers to support integrated care pathways
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation
- Participate in audits, accreditation, CPD and quality improvement activities
- Uphold skilled standards, ethical conduct, and clinic values

You must have:

- Full VR - AHPRA registration - with the ability to work unsupervised

- FRACGP or ACRRM or equivalent, or are on the vocational register

- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Medicare Provider Number for A1 Medicate rebates
- ABN & professional indemnity insurance
- Location freedom and Australian work rights
- Interest or experience in integrative or functional medicine (highly regarded but not required)
