We are seeking an experienced AHPRA-Endorsed Nurse Practitioner to join our growing clinical team and provide high-quality virtual care to patients across Australia.

The Role

As a Nurse Practitioner with Aevum Bio Clinic, you will independently assess and manage patients via telehealth within your authorised scope of practice.

Depending on your clinical experience and scope, consultations may include:

- Weight management and metabolic health





- Comprehensive patient assessment and medical history

- Assessment of weight-related risk factors and comorbidities

- Review and interpretation of relevant pathology and investigations

- Development of individualised treatment and management plans

- Evidence-based pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options

- Prescribing where clinically appropriate and within your authorised scope of practice

- Ongoing medication monitoring, review and adjustment

- Lifestyle, nutrition and preventative health discussions

- Patient education and shared decision-making

- Appropriate referrals to GPs, specialists and allied health practitioners

- Accurate and timely clinical documentation

- Follow-up consultations and continuity of care

As our services continue to develop, there may also be opportunities to contribute to additional preventative health, healthy ageing and other evidence-based clinical programs appropriate to your experience and scope of practice.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration

- Current Nurse Practitioner endorsement

- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance

- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

- Demonstrated ability to practise autonomously within your scope

- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills

- Confidence using electronic medical records and digital systems





- A strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care

- Ability to work effectively and professionally in a remote environment

Experience in telehealth, primary care, weight management, metabolic health, women's health, preventative medicine or chronic disease management will be highly regarded.

Remuneration & Hours

This position is offered on an independent contractor basis at $150–$170 per hour + GST, with the final rate determined by experience and relevant scope of practice.

A guaranteed minimum number of paid hours will be available initially, with the opportunity to progressively increase hours as patient demand grows.

We are looking for someone interested in developing an ongoing relationship with the clinic rather than simply providing ad-hoc consultation coverage.
