What this role is all about

We are seeking a Graduate Hydraulic Engineer to join our Perth team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of hydraulic and building services projects, while developing both your technical capability and consulting skills.

How you’ll contribute day-to-day

- Assist in the design of hydraulic and building services systems under the guidance of senior engineers

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes

- Undertake site inspections and attend project meetings alongside experienced engineers

- Prepare and contribute to technical documentation, reports, calculations, and design deliverables

- Build your consulting capability, working towards independently delivering elements of projects

- Engage in Lucid’s mentoring and training programs to accelerate your development





What sets you up for success

- Has 0–2 years’ experience in Hydraulic Engineering or building services, ideally within a consulting environment

- Holds an Australian-recognised Engineering degree

- Brings strong problem-solving skills and a genuine willingness to learn

- Communicates clearly, both written and verbally

- Is interested in developing skills across design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit

- Has exposure to or an interest in hydraulic services design, including water, drainage, sewer, stormwater and associated building services systems

- Demonstrates attention to detail, organisation, and a commitment to professional growth

- Holds Australian citizenship or permanent residency (preferred)
