The opportunity

Exciting new opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our Energy & Utilities business working across Water and Sewer Main Renewals projects for VIC's Water Services Programs. In addition to overseeing the construction phase of the program's renewals projects, you will be collaborating with design, scheduling, cost and commissioning and maintenance teams to ensure smooth transitions and project success.

What you'll do

- Subcontractor onboarding, Compliance, training, Review and monitor ATWP, onboarding of subcontractor's plant and Equipment
- Provide site Supervision for all the projects
- Manage, coordinate and deliver a complex range of small and large projects, including, construction, maintenance, commissioning and handover of infrastructure and assets
- Manage and drive a culture of innovation in project delivery that results in delivery of ongoing efficiencies and improvements in project work practices
- Manage and ensure all the plant and equipment are fully compliant, inclusive risk assessment, regular maintenance register, calibration register
- Manage, coordinate, and maintain good working relationships with sub-contractors to effectively and efficiently deliver projects
- Manage and maintain good working relationships with a range of stakeholders prior and during the delivery of projects
- Deliver projects so that they comply with and meet expectations from clients, communities, environmental management requirements and other legislative requirements
- Work with project team to execute all the renewal projects
- Prepare and maintain the ongoing plant and equipment replacement plan, inclusive of disposal, maintenance and capex submission
- Review reporting on program performance and progress,



including development of solutions to issues that compromise attainment of agreed performance targets

What we're looking for

- 10yrs + Experience in Australian utility sector is favourable
- Water industry experience highly desirable
- Experience with with both direct labour and sub-contract personnel
- Appropriate level of industry related Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) training and experience
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook MS Project)
