Clinic Nurse

The Clinical Services is responsible for the operational functions required to support the productive and effective diverse delivery of clinical services and practice administration for the Pika Wiya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation.

Supporting the clinical processes, communicare medical records system and Medicare.Promoting effective working relationships across all aspects of staff in collaboration, administration in the clinic areas. Ensuring all services are compliant with legislative responsibilties related to privacy and OHS.

This position will be based in Port Augusta, South Australia at the main clinic.

Conditions:

The incumbent will be required to enter into a performance agreement for the achievement of specific outcomes.





- A current SA Drivers licence is essential and some out of hours work and intrastate travel may be required. Additional working hours will be accruable as “Time off in Lieu”
- The position covers all clinics contained within the PWHSAC designated areas.
- Appointee will be required to produce a satisfactory National Police Certificate/National police History Records check prior to confirmation of appointment and every three years thereafter
- All staff members will be expected to attend Cultural Awareness Training.
