A respected farming business on the Darling Downs is seeking a Farm Hand to join their team. Based from the home base at Pittsworth, this role offers a mix of local farm work and periodic travel during busy operational and harvesting periods. Pittsworth is a thriving agricultural community on the Darling Downs, offering excellent local services, sporting facilities, schools, shops and a strong rural lifestyle. Located within easy reach of Toowoomba, it provides the benefits of country living while maintaining access to major regional amenities.

Reporting directly to the owner, this position will suit someone who enjoys a varied workload, can work independently and is comfortable spending periods away from home when required.



The role is available for an immediate start or by negotiation with the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

- Undertake irrigation activities and monitor water delivery across farming operations.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with general farm duties including property maintenance and seasonal operations.
- Participate in cotton picking and support activities across QLD and NSW locations as required for seasonal requirements.

Selection Criteria:

- Previous experience working in a farming or agricultural environment.
- Demonstrated experience operating farm machinery and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and travel away from the home property when required.
- Current driver's licence, with an MC Licence viewed favourably.

- Four-bedroom home on farm at Pittsworth + accommodation & meals supplied when working away.
- Full-time position with remuneration negotiated according to skills and experience.
