The Role:
Casual work opportunity for experienced primary teacher | Monday-Friday availability

MLC is currently welcoming applications from qualified Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs) to join our vibrant Junior School (Prep to Year 6). We are seeking teachers who are available Monday to Friday, and who are confident, adaptable, and committed to fostering student learning and wellbeing.
CRT work may be booked in advance or at short notice. As part of a supportive and collegial team, CRTs at MLC contribute to a warm, engaging, and student-centred learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lessons across Prep to Year 6
- Ensure a safe, inclusive and structured classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and families
- Support students’ wellbeing in alignment with MLC’s values
- Be available for both pre-booked and same-day relief teaching

What you will bring:
You are a dedicated, flexible professional with:

- Current VIT registration (essential)
- A teaching qualification in Primary Education
- Confidence and experience in teaching across year levels and subject areas
- Availability to work Monday - Friday
- Knowledge of evidence-based teaching and learning practices




- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in student learning and wellbeing
- Solid interpersonal and classroom management skills
- A warm, collaborative, and student-focused approach
- Commitment to MLC’s Child Safe standards and practices
- Commitment to professional growth and reflective practice
- Alignment with MLC’s values and policies
- Understanding of the Victorian Child Safe Standards
