The Role

The Career Practitioner would work collaboratively with school leadership and staff to embed career development and career learning across the college. They should develop and facilitate engaging career education programs, support pathway planning from Years 7 to 12, and provide students with accurate, current and unbiased information about career pathways, further education, training and employment opportunities. The Career Practitioner will oversee the effective delivery of the college Future Ready Program for Years 7 to 12, and facilitate connections between this program and curriculum teams to embed career readiness and tertiary preparation across learning areas





A key focus of the role will be building strong connections with industry, employers and community partners to create meaningful career and workplace experiences for students. The Career Practitioner should also support students, parents and carers through pathway conversations, workshops and portfolio development, ensuring they have the knowledge and information needed to make informed decisions about their future.
