About the role
Perth Day Hospital is seeking Anaesthetic Technicians and Anaesthetic Nurses to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art Day Hospital in Osborne Park. You will be part of a dynamic team in a modern, purpose-built facility where excellence meets innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist anaesthetists and other clinical staff in the preparation, administration and monitoring of anaesthesia
- Ensure the anaesthetic equipment and environment are maintained in a safe and compliant manner
- Provide high-quality patient care and support before, during and after surgical procedures
- Document all relevant information and maintain accurate patient records
- Participate in staff training and professional development activities
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures and quality standards
About you
- Certificate IV in Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Anaesthetic Technician/Anaesthetic Nurse in a hospital or day surgery setting
- Excellent clinical skills and a robust understanding of anaesthetic procedures and equipment
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate well within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
