Job Description

Austro Management Services Pty Ltd 130 South Road, Torrensville SA 5031 Australia Full Time Taxation Accountant $85,800 p.a. plus superannuation Duties and Responsibilities

- Liaise with clients and key stakeholders.
- Liaise with the ATO and other Government instrumentalities relating to tax and employment matters.
- Preparing Quarterly and Annual BAS Statements for lodgement with the ATO.
- Preparing annual cash flow statements for the preparation of annual profit loss statements.
- Preparing Single Touch payrolls for clients and lodging with the ATO.
- Preparing superannuation statements and lodging with the ATO.
- Preparing Individual Income Tax Returns and Assisting with the preparation of tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain clients' general ledgers.
- Preparing financial information for use by his senior for preparation of complex tax returns.
- Attend in-house and external seminars and training courses.




- Providing on-the-job training and guidance for recent staff members, including junior and assistant accountants, to ensure they understand firm procedures, compliance requirements and software systems.
- Reviewing work prepared by Assistant Accountants and providing directions where required to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and ATO obligations.

Qualification and Experience

- Bachelor of Accounting.
- Master of Professional Accounting.
- At least 3 years work experience in Australia in the accounting field.
- Experienced in Quicken Payroll, be able to lodge Single Touch Payroll, Pay Day Super.
- Experienced in preparation and lodgement of Business Activity Statements.
- Experienced in Individual, Partnership, Trusts and Company Tax Returns.
- Experienced in preparation of Financial Statements.
