Job Description

Sourcify Pty Ltd Key Responsibilities Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs). Preparing and reviewing Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), and other taxation compliance lodgements. Researching, interpreting, and applying Australian taxation legislation and related regulations.

Providing taxation advice, tax planning strategies, and compliance support to clients. Liaising directly with clients and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regarding taxation and accounting matters. Identifying taxation risks, compliance issues, and opportunities to improve client outcomes.

Assisting with business advisory engagements, financial reporting, and management accounting services. Ensuring all client compliance obligations and lodgement deadlines are met. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to a positive team environment.

Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline. At least 1-2 years of relevant accounting and taxation experience,



preferably within a public practice environment. Sound knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and accounting principles.

Experience using Xero, MYOB, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Robust attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
