Sea Dragon(NT) Pty Ltd Chef Full-time | Salary: $68,000 – $85,000 per annum About the Role The Chef plays a key role in ensuring Wharf One Food & Wine maintains the highest culinary standards.
The role involves overseeing kitchen operations, managing menu preparation, and delivering high-quality dishes aligned with the venue’s modern Australian dining style. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present menu items to venue standards. Support the Head Chef in maintaining consistent food quality.
Maintain kitchen standards, food safety, and hygiene. Contribute to menu development reflecting the Northern Territory’s unique food culture. Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and ensure ongoing skills development. Maintain stock control, ordering, and cost management. Ensure compliance with NT Health food safety and hygiene regulations.
Coordinate with front-of-house and management for smooth service. Skills & Experience: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). Minimum 3 years’ experience as a chef in a commercial kitchen.
Strong leadership and mentoring ability. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of stock control, food safety, and kitchen administration.
Excellent culinary and presentation skills. Calm under pressure in a high-volume environment. Cook Full – time | Salary: $68,000 – $80,000 per annum
About the Role The Cook supports the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high-quality meals efficiently and consistently, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring food safety standards are met. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items under the direction of senior kitchen staff. Follow recipes and portion control procedure and present dishes with consistency.
Adhere to food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures. Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and setup for service. Maintain kitchen workspaces, tools, and cooking equipment.
Support chefs during peak periods and events, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced workplace. Skills & Experience: Commercial cookery certificate III (preferred). Previous cooking experience in a similar role in a hospitality venue.
Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene. Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen. Reliable, punctual and team-focused.
Waiter Supervisor Full-time | Salary: $68,000 – $80,000 per annum About the Role: The Waiter Supervisor oversees front-of-house service operations to ensure guests receive professional and efficient service. The role involves managing floor staff, coordinating service flow, and maintaining venue standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate waitstaff during service hours to ensure efficient and professional food and beverage service Train and mentor new front-of-house staff in service procedures, menu knowledge, and customer engagement Manage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow. Communicate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service. Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving inquiries and service issues promptly and courteously Ensure compliance with RSA, hygiene,
and WHS standards.
Key Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or senior waitstaff role. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification. Strong communication and leadership skills.

About the Role: The Bar Supervisor leads the bar team in delivering efficient, high-quality beverage service. Responsible for bar operations, stock control, and compliance with RSA regulations, the role ensures the bar consistently represents Wharf One’s premium standard.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Supervise bar staff and oversee daily bar operations. Maintain beverage quality, consistency, and presentation. Manage ordering, stock rotation, and inventory control.
Handle cash, EFTPOS, and end-of-night reconciliations. Train bar staff on service standards and product knowledge. Enforce RSA compliance and workplace safety protocols.
Liaise with management on bar promotions and events. Key Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in bar supervision or management. Curren RSA certification (mandatory) Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent mixology and product knowledge. Attention to detail and time management. Calm and professional under pressure.
