Job Description
Target Business Services Location: Suite G07, 324 Annangrove Rd, Rouse Hill NSW 2155 Salary: $110,000 plus 12% superannuation Position: Full time, permanent Our client RJ infra Pty Ltd operates in the competitive NSW residential and civil construction market, delivering high quality housing, subdivision development and civil infrastructure for communities across growth corridors like Rouse Hill/Box Hill. As the business scales its project pipeline—ranging from architecturally designed luxury homes to end to end turnkey house and land packages—the need for robust project oversight becomes critical.
RJ infra Pty Ltd is looking to hire for a full time permanent position of Construction Project Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the construction process, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering a collaborative environment among team members and stakeholders.
You will also collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards will be the routine responsibilities. Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year experience in construction project management.
In this role your main responsibilities include:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and adjust project schedules as needed to ensure timely completion.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and conduct regular progress meetings.
Budget and Cost Control:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly.
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety training sessions.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain clear and open communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates and address any concerns or changes promptly.
Other key skills and experience will include:
- Proven experience managing large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
