Your new role:

As a New Graduate Physiotherapist, you'll deliver evidence-based physiotherapy services across a range of clinical rotations while developing your clinical skills under the guidance of experienced clinicians. Working within an interprofessional team, you'll contribute to high-quality, culturally responsive, person-centred care while building a strong foundation for your physiotherapy career.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning across diverse clinical areas.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
- Participate in clinical education, quality improvement and research activities.
- Build clinical knowledge and confidence through structured supervision and professional development.

About you:

You are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander physiotherapy graduate who is passionate about improving health outcomes and committed to providing protected, culturally responsive and evidence-based care.

Skills & Experience

- Eligible for AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist before commencement.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within multidisciplinary healthcare settings.
- Commitment to ongoing learning, career development and continuous improvement.
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centred care while embracing diverse clinical experiences.
- Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and meet the eligibility requirements for this identified position.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
