The opportunity

Working closely with Stewart Ebbott, we have an prospect to join our highly regarded & rapidly growing Brisbane Corporate & Commercial practice. We advise clients from start-ups and private businesses to ASX-listed entities and large unlisted public companies, with a focus on Food and Agribusiness, Health, Construction & Logistics.

You'll be busy with

- Mergers and acquisitions (M&A;)
- Capital raising
- Structuring and corporate restructures
- Commercial contract matters
- Scoping, planning and conducting due diligence
- Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents (e.g. sale and purchase agreements, disclosure materials)
- Managing the completion process

To succeed in this role, ideally, you'll have

- 5+ years PAE within a reputable corporate practice
- Excellent analytical and communication skills to deliver technically and commercially astute advice
- Proven experience in preparing and negotiating transaction documents and commercial contracts, advising on governance agreements and drafting corporate head office advice




- Strategic and critical thinking capabilities
- Well-developed project and relationship management ability
- The skills to work autonomously and mentor junior colleagues and allocate resources to ensure effective utilisation of the team
