Fitter – Leading Hand Farleigh Mill

About the Role

Come and join our Maintenance team at Farleigh Mill and take the next step in your trade career. This permanent opportunity is ideal for a qualified Fitter & Turner interested in stepping into a Leading Hand role. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll lead a site workgroup while providing hands-on support to deliver secure, efficient, and reliable maintenance outcomes. You'll play a key role in supporting the performance of our plant and infrastructure, while promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with environmental and operational standards.

As a minimum you will:

- Hold relevant engineering trade qualifications;
- Have a minimum of five (5) years post trade experience;
- Have strong, well developed interpersonal communication skills,
- Have the capability to lead the maintenance of boiler plant, steam turbines and materials handling equipment;
- Have specific experience and knowledge of typical maintenance practices in boiler plant, auxiliary boiler plant and turbines;
- Have basic computer skills;
- Have the capability to work within and provide leadership to a work team; and
- A dedicated commitment to safety in the workplace
