Your New Role Reporting to the Production & Operations Manager, the Supply Chain Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, supplier performance, procurement activities, inventory management, and logistics operations across a growing manufacturing environment.
Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams, you will help build and mature supply chain capability while ensuring continuity of supply, operational efficiency, and scalability as the business continues to expand. Key responsibilities include: Leading day-to-day supply chain operations across procurement, supplier management, logistics, and inventory.
Developing and executing supply chain plans aligned to production requirements and business growth objectives. Managing supplier relationships, performance, quality, delivery expectations, and commercial outcomes.
Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, including long lead-time items and sole-source dependencies.
Supporting new product introduction activities and scaling production capability. Driving procurement activities to ensure materials are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget. Monitoring inventory levels and implementing strategies that optimise stock holdings while supporting production demands.
Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities, including freight, warehousing, and supplier deliveries. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain performance and operational effectiveness. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance, procurement efficiency, and supply chain resilience.

Need to Succeed To be successful, you'll bring: Previous experience in a Supply Chain role within a defence, aerospace or AS9100 workplace.
Demonstrated experience within manufacturing, advanced engineering, industrial, defence, aerospace, automotive, mining, or other complex technical environments. Strong supplier relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience managing procurement activities, supplier performance, lead times, and inventory requirements.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain reporting tools.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a continuous improvement approach. Highly regarded experience includes: Exposure to regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environments.
Supplier qualification, audit support, and supplier development experience. Inventory optimisation and materials planning expertise. Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities.
Exposure to export-controlled environments and international supply chains. Eligibility Requirements: Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances.
Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and regulated operating environments. High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail. What's on Offer
