We currently have an opening for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our busy Finance team on a full-time basis.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on role responsible for the accurate and timely recording of sales, processing of payments and management of accounts receivable.

You will work closely with our Finance and operational teams to resolve outstanding invoices, investigate discrepancies and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing day-to-day accounts receivable functions

- Preparing and processing sales invoices, including functions, weddings, daily restaurant takings and concerts

- Processing deposits, reconciliations and banking

- Proactively following up outstanding customer invoices and ensuring debts are collected promptly and efficiently

- Investigating and resolving discrepancies

- Completing daily data entry and maintaining accurate financial records

- Working closely with internal teams to resolve invoicing and payment queries

- Providing timely support to the Accountant and Financial Controller as required

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and confident managing accounts receivable in a busy environment.

Ideally, you will have:

- 2–4 years’ experience in a similar Accounts Receivable or Finance role

- Robust attention to detail and a high level of accuracy





- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent time management, multitasking and prioritisation skills

- A proactive approach to following up outstanding accounts and resolving issues

- A positive, professional and team-oriented attitude

- A current Australian Driver’s Licence

- A current Police Clearance Certificate issued within the last six months

- Full Australian working rights
