About the role
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Showroom and Sales Assistant to join our team at our showroom in Fyshwick. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and support to our office and installation teams.

Key responsibilities

- Greet and welcome customers to the showroom, providing a warm and skilled first impression

- Assist customers in browsing products, answer enquiries, and provide expert product knowledge and recommendations

- Support the sales team by coordinating customer information, managing appointments, and following up on leads

- Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, and inventory levels

- Perform administrative duties including filing, data entry, confirmation calls and texts, and scheduling as needed

- Tracking and confirming scheduled glass deliveries

- Maintain the showroom environment by keeping displays clean, organised, stocked and visually appealing

What we're looking for

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers





- Demonstrated sales experience or customer service background in a retail or showroom environment

- Commitment to product knowledge and providing accurate information to customers

- Proficiency in CRM systems and general computer skills, and learning software

- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with attention to detail

- A genuine passion for customer service and commitment to exceeding customer expectations

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

- Professional appearance and demeanour, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude

- Previous experience in a similar showroom or sales role or familiar with the construction industry (preferred but not essential)

- Reliable all-rounder, happy supporting two teams and switching gears
