An exciting and rewarding opportunity is available for a suitably qualified candidate to join the Access & Intake team at Portland District Health.
In this role your will be the first point of contact for patients, their families and carers. Your focus will be in providing a warm and welcoming environment, whilst ensuring data integrity in patient registration, admissions, discharges, and electronic health records. Responsible for the administrative, clerical support and TRAK intake processes for AOD and Counselling & Wellbeing teams. You will liaise closely with all PDH staff &Primary; Care Service teams as required; contributing to an informed and safe healthcare journey for each patient, whilst providing support to PDH Primary Care Access & Intake as requested.
About You
Cert III or Cert IV in Business administration regarded favourablyDemonstrated Administrative clerical experienceDemonstrated high computer literacy with data entry skillsAbility to determine priorities, multi-task and organise workload effectively and efficientlyBeing respectful, approachable and team oriented, building solid working relationships and a positive work environmentTaking ownership of your work, doing what is needed without being asked and following through when requiredDemonstrated experience in using a variety of computer software programsAbility to adopt workplace wellness principles ensuring mental and physical self-care

PDH delivers services from a single campus, employs around 470 staff with an FTE of approximately 290, and has an active volunteer workforce.
