Reservations Assistant / Ground Handler - FLY TIWI

Fly Tiwi , a division of Hardy Aviation, provides vital passenger and freight services to remote Northern Territory communities.

Our experienced pilots and well-maintained fleet operate under strict safety standards, delivering reliable Charter, Regular Public Transport (RPT) and Freight services tailored to the unique conditions of the Top End.

The Opportunity

Based at our small but busy terminal at Darwin Airport, you’ll contribute to the smooth running of our operations while providing exceptional service to our diverse customer base.

We’re looking for a team member who is approachable, takes pride in their work and can be relied upon during fast-paced peak periods, as well as the quieter, routine tasks between flights.

We value candidates who have experience engaging with Aboriginal people and communities, including customers for whom English may be an additional language, and who bring a respectful and culturally aware approach to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Passenger, baggage and freight check-in

- Operating an online booking system

- Front counter and telephone customer service

- Processing payments

- Baggage handling

- Ground handling and aircraft loading

The Essentials





- Physically fit and able to regularly lift up to 15kg

- Able to pass drug and alcohol screening and obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)

- Strong attention to detail and reliability

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Qualified presentation and attitude

- Flexibility to work weekends as part of a rotating roster

Desirable Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in aviation, customer service or freight handling

- Familiarity with booking systems or airport operations
