About the Senior Recruitment Consultant role Gorilla Jobs is looking for a driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of an established permanent healthcare recruitment desk in Sydney CBD.

The current Recruitment Consultant is relocating to our UK office, leaving behind live vacancies, warm national client relationships and an active candidate market.

You can begin building placements and commission from day one while continuing to grow the desk as your own.

This is a Sydney-based position recruiting healthcare professionals into permanent roles across Australia. You will also become part of a specialist recruitment business operating across both Australia and the United Kingdom.

What you will do:

- Manage and grow an established healthcare recruitment desk with national client accounts and live vacancies.
- Source and place healthcare professionals into permanent roles across Australia.
- Manage the recruitment process from vacancy brief and candidate sourcing through to interview, offer and placement.
- Develop long-term partnerships with clients and high-calibre candidates.
- Consistently meet and exceed commercial targets.




- Mentor newer consultants and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture.

What we are looking for You may already be a successful Recruitment Consultant or Senior Recruitment Consultant.

We will also consider high-performing B2B sales and account-management professionals who have the judgement, resilience and ambition to move into agency recruitment.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Two or more years of experience in recruitment, B2B sales or account management.
- A measurable record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Robust commercial judgement and the resilience to handle setbacks.
- High integrity and the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
- The independence to manage your own desk while contributing to the wider team.
- Entrepreneurial ambition to build a team or progress into an Account Director role.

Healthcare recruitment experience is valuable, but it is not essential. Every new consultant completes our intensive eight-week training programme, regardless of previous industry background.
