For a leading organisation in the banking, finance and accounting sector based in Brisbane, Queensland, we are seeking a Finance Analyst to support end-to-end (E2E) financial analysis and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities. The role sits within a structured finance function and works closely with stakeholders across the wider business to ensure financial data, reporting processes and system changes are accurately reflected and compliant with internal standards. The successful candidate will apply analytical capability to support decision-making, assist with project-related financial assessments and contribute to maintaining robust financial controls. This position is suitable for a degree-qualified finance professional who is looking to apply technical knowledge in a disciplined corporate workplace.
Responsibilities
- Support finance teams with structured analysis of financial data to assist in informed business decisions and performance monitoring activities.
- Contribute to end-to-end UAT activities for finance-related systems, focusing on data integrity, reconciliation accuracy and reporting consistency.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries that align with internal guidelines and support management oversight and governance processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in banking and accounting functions to clarify financial requirements and ensure accurate translation into system configurations.
- Identify variances or anomalies in financial information and escalate findings appropriately to support timely remediation and control improvement.
