About the role

Lead exceptional wine, food and event experiences in the heart of McLaren Vale.

Bec Hardy Wines is seeking an energetic and organised hospitality professional to join our team as Front of House Team Leader & Events Coordinator.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining cellar door operations, functions and events coordination, team leadership, and guest experience.

Working closely with ownership and our kitchen team, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding experiences across our Cellar Door, The Kitchen at Bec Hardy, Wine Club and growing events program.

Bec Hardy Wines is a family-owned premium wine business located in the heart of McLaren Vale. Alongside our award-winning wines, we operate a vibrant cellar door, restaurant and events business that welcomes visitors from across Australia and around the world.

About the Role

This role is available on either a 0.8 FTE (4 day) or full-time basis, depending on the successful applicant.

Key responsibilities include:

Front of House Leadership

- Lead daily cellar door and hospitality operations

- Deliver exceptional customer experiences

- Support, mentor and lead the FOH team

- Coordinate service between FOH and kitchen

- Manage bookings, enquiries and customer communications

- Assist with rostering and team development

Events & Functions

- Manage event and function enquiries





- Coordinate bookings from enquiry through to delivery

- Assist with planning and execution of private events, corporate functions and wine experiences

- Liaise with guests, suppliers and internal teams

Sales & Customer Engagement

- Drive wine sales and Wine Club memberships

- Promote cellar door experiences and events

- Build relationships with guests and returning customers

About You

You are a natural organiser who enjoys leading from the front and creating memorable guest experiences.

You'll ideally bring:

- Hospitality, cellar door, tourism or events experience

- Previous team leadership experience

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Excellent organisational skills

- A proactive and hands-on approach

- Confidence working in a quick-paced environment

- RSA certification

- A genuine passion for wine, food and hospitality

Wine industry experience is welcome but not essential.
