This has resulted in the creation of a highly modular and scalable product suite, which have become integral to a wide range of critical Defence capabilities.
The Position
We are seeking to grow our Field Integration Support (FIS) team, with roles to execute and coordinate integration, validation, and support of deployed CEA systems within operational environments.
We’re looking to fill roles across a range of levels, from technician-level officers building field integration experience, through to senior engineers providing technical leadership on complex, high-priority deployments.
As a member of the Field Integration Support team, you will serve as a critical bridge between our technical operations and field deployment activities, providing essential support to ensure seamless integration of systems and solutions at customer sites. You will be instrumental in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our field operations whilst troubleshooting technical challenges and supporting both internal teams and external clients.

Key responsibilities across these roles include:
- Providing on-site technical support during system installations, integrations and commissioning activities.
- Diagnosing and resolving field-based technical issues, escalating complex problems to engineering teams as required.
- Documenting installation procedures, system configurations and integration outcomes for compliance and knowledge management.
- Collaborating with field teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to specification.
- Conducting testing and validation of integrated systems prior to handover to clients
- Providing technical guidance to field personnel regarding system operation and maintenance protocols.
- Maintaining accurate records of all field support activities, including time logs, work completed and materials used.
- Supporting the development of installation documentation, technical guides and training materials.
- Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction with delivered solutions.

Our Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electronics, Software, Systems, Mechatronics, or related discipline), Electronics, Computer Science, Networking, or equivalent operational experience – the level of qualification and experience required will vary depending on seniority.
- Relevant technical experience from early-career through to 10+ years depending on the level of the role.
- Sound knowledge of the function of military Mission Systems.
- Practical understanding of Ethernet/IP networking topology.
- Demonstrated ability to delivery results by arranging workflow, determining priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, suited to a diverse technical and non-technical audience, including customers and suppliers.
- Ability to travel to Australian and international fielded sites for up to 15 weeks per year.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of C4I architectures.
- Experience with verification and validation (V&V;) planning and execution.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and structured systems engineering practices.
- Experience leading or mentoring within a technical team.
- Experience operating in high-readiness or remote deployment scenarios.

- An Australian Citizen;
- Must have and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Negative Vetting 2 (or ability to obtain)
- ITAR – This position requires employees to access equipment and data that is subject to U.S International Traffic and Arms Regulation (ITAR). As such, applicants must disclose the following information at the time of application.
