About the role:
As a Graduate Electrical Engineer at RASP, you will be joining a great team of engineers working on a wide range of projects, from distribution network design for a utility to major infrastructure projects, to helping customers work out the best design solution for their specific needs. You will be working on diverse projects that will help you broaden your existing skillset. Key responsibilities:
- Complete distribution network designs, both underground and overhead, up to 33kV
- Contribute to electrical designs for large infrastructure projects, through lighting design and equipment schedules
- Complete power system analysis and protection studies for existing and proposed installations
- Undertake site visits as needed
- Manage your projects to meet critical milestones and manage customer expectations
About you:
- Be ready for the challenge, and give your best effort on the day
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Be able to communicate effectively, either over the phone, face to face or in writing.
- Be a team player, always ready to help your colleagues and be comfortable asking for help
- Eagerness to learn and develop your technical skills
- Experience in the major infrastructure projects or mining sector is welcomed
- Proficiency in some or all of the following – Poles and Wires, Neara, PowerFactory, Agi32, MicroStation, AutoCad
