About The Role

With a strong pipeline of newly awarded projects across Queensland, BMD is seeking an Environmental Coordinator who is open to both Townsville based work or FIFO/DIDO‑based projects across Queensland. Reporting to the Environmental Manager, the Environmental Coordinator will support project teams in the implementation and ongoing management of BMD’s environmental systems and site‑specific environmental management plans.

Key Responsibilities

Support compliance with regulatory and project‑specific requirementsImplement and maintain Construction Environmental Management PlansConduct site inspections,



audits and environmental monitoringAssist with incident investigation and environmental reportingSupport approvals documentation and stakeholder liaisonDeliver toolbox talks and environmental training on site

Skills And Experience

Degree qualified in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar4-7 years post‑graduate experience in a site‑based construction environmentStrong understanding of environmental compliance on civil projectsConfident communicator able to engage with site teams and stakeholdersOpen to regional FIFO work when required
