Are you looking for a development opportunity, a new challenge or to broaden your professional skills?

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Cth) (CDPP) is looking for an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented APS5 Human Resources (HR) Coordinator in their Industrial Relations team, within People Branch, for the non-ongoing contract for a 12 month period. In this role, you will:

- support the delivery of the CDPP’s enterprise bargaining project; and
- aid in the coordination of the project by engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver documentation in required timelines.

This role is critical in the development of the CDPP’s new Enterprise Agreement, including policies associated with its implementation. The role will also provide high-level secretariat support to the CDPP’s National Consultative Committee and exposure to a broad range of HR matters and an prospect to understand how policy is developed, reviewed and applied in practice.

The key duties of the position include:

In addition to meeting the Integrated Leadership System profile of the APS 5 level, primary outcomes and accountabilities will involve:

- Supporting the Assistant Manager in the development of the CDPP’s new Enterprise Agreement;
- Undertaking research, analysis and reviews of complex HR policy and WR issues and legislation, identifying emerging issues;
- Building and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Community and Public Service Union (CPSU) and agency Delegates;




- Engaging in consultation and negotiation processes while balancing competing interests and priorities;
- Identifying and developing solutions which support sound policy decisions and approaches;
- Exercising initiative and acting with integrity to deliver results;
- Coordinating and managing correspondence, including monitoring emails, preparing responses to routine and less complex enquiries;
- Drafting, proofreading, editing, and collating corporate documents; utilising CDPP systems for record-keeping and clearance processes;
- Contributing to the preparation of reports, briefs and correspondence to inform or respond to Agency and/or Government requests; and
- Providing secretariat support to the CDPP’s National Consultative Committee.

Eligibility

- The ability to obtain/maintain satisfactory National Police Check and AGSVA Baseline security clearance
- Australian Citizenship
