Allcast Precast is a fast growing precast manufacturing business looking for an experienced Operations Manager who is ready to step up and take ownership of day-to-day business and factory operations, freeing up the Owner/Director to focus on strategic growth. This is a newly created, high-autonomy role for someone who wants to run a business, not just manage a function.

You'll take full accountability for operations, projects and people, working closely with the Owner/Director as a genuine right hand and long-term leadership partner.

Allcast Precast is a 5th family owned, Australian manufacturing business specialising in the manufacture and distribution of luxury, fully tiled, precast concrete plunge pools, water tanks, septic tanks, treatment plants and council product. We have been in business for 65 years, manufacturing our pools and commercial tank products on the Sunshine Coast, with sales offices located on both the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast and distribution across the country.

Key responsibilities

Operation

- Take full accountability for the daily running of the business — production, supply, quality, safety and compliance

- Act as the point of escalation and decision-making for operational issues

- Own budgets and cost control across departments, and report on performance against targets

Executive support

- Manage the Owner/Director's day-to-day email and correspondence, triaging and responding, and escalating only what genuinely needs their input

- Act as the communication hub between the Owner/Director, department leads, suppliers and clients

Projects

- Take defined projects — new equipment, process improvements, expansion initiatives — from brief through to delivery, on time and on budget





- Identify and resolve operational issues that are limiting efficiency or growth

- Translate strategic goals into operational plans and execute them

Leadership

- Lead department managers and supervisors day-to-day, building a high-performance, accountable team culture

- Develop the reporting rhythm and KPIs that let the business run well independently

- Partner with the Owner/Director on strategy and long-term planning, taking on broader commercial and leadership responsibility as the business grows

About you

- Solid experience in operations or general management, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or a related industrial sector

- A track record of running day-to-day operations with real accountability — not just coordinating, but owning outcomes

- Strong project management skills — able to take something from idea to delivered outcome without heavy oversight

- Excellent judgement on what needs the Owner/Director's attention and what doesn't

- Commercial acumen and genuine interest in the numbers, not just the operations

- Ambition to build a long-term career with the business and grow into broader leadership responsibility over time
