The Prospect

There is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and diligent lawyer to join our medical negligence team based in Perth. Working closely with our partners and senior lawyers, you will handle a variety of medical negligence matters.

Our medical negligence team has been consistently recognised in the Doyle’s Guide as a top-tier practice in Western Australia.

You will need to maintain and enhance our existing strong relationships with clients and manage your own files to ensure you are providing prompt advice, managing expectations, and determining the appropriate strategies for each matter. You will be committed to exceeding client service standards and achieving the best outcome for our clients.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

- a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current Western Australian practising certificate

- two to five years' post-admission experience, preferably in medical negligence, however we encourage applications from all candidates with relevant experience





- strong technical skills with the ability to demonstrate a working knowledge in litigation involving insurance claims

- excellent verbal and written communication skills

- the ability to build strong internal and external client relationships

- good time management and organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines and client service standards, and

- the ability to be a team player as well as work autonomously.
