THE ROLE

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our growing Urgent Care Service.

Working alongside Registered Nurses, you will provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients presenting with urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening.

Your Responsibilities

Provide clinical and administrative support within the Urgent Care centreWelcome patients and assist with appointments and registrationWork alongside Registered Nurses to care for injuries and illnessesConduct patient histories and support clinical assessmentsAdminister medications and provide wound care and plasteringProvide patient education and supportMaintain accurate clinical documentationComplete Medicare billing and coding requirementsEnsure care is provided within scope of practice and ForHealth policiesSupport workplace health and safety and report incidents and hazards

About You

Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled NurseFlexible availability, including evenings and weekends3 years' Primary Care/General Practice nursing experience OR2 years' Emergency Department or similar experience OR3 years' Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedic or similar acute care experienceStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced workplace and manage escalationsA passion for patient-centred care

MANDATORY CHECKS

Successful candidates will be required to provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check, with an International Police Check where applicable.
