You will be required to cook traditional north indian cuisine and manage a team of 2 junior staff. you will be responsible of maintaining very high standards of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety. The role requires cooking authentic north indian curries, biryanis and having a good knowledge of tandoori preparation that includes bread, tandoori dishes from scratch. You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen and must demonstrate time management and positive leadership skills. Check food stocks, store items and order food supply with minimum wastage and cost control is the key. Finally, you will not only be a team leader but team player too.
You must have Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
Minimum one year relevant experience as a Chef
