Customer Service Officer

Position Status: FTE 0.6 to FTE 1 part-time to full-time

About the role

We are offering a 2 permanent part time roles of Customer Services Officers in the team at our West Leederville office. The position involves < A professional customer services officer working in a busy face-to-face environment to support our Redress and Djinda Teams. As part of a motivated and supportive team you will demonstrate your ability to perform a range of administrative tasks, handle simultaneous demands and interact in a friendly and helpful manner to all staff and clients.

The current vacancy is (22.5 to 37.5 hours per week)

Skills, experience, and qualifications

Provide efficient, accurate, and empathetic customer service by managing enquiries, maintaining client records, coordinating appointments, supporting accessibility needs, and ensuring confidentiality for all clients and staff.

Provide general administrative support, including maintaining records, managing enquiries, preparing correspondence, handling payments, and assisting with office operations

Insert details about the essential criteria (including qualifications) for the position>

1. Demonstrated administration/customer service experience in a similar position.

2. Demonstrated advanced skills in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Database operation, desk-top publishing and other applications. Familiarity with Client Management Systems.

3. Strong keyboarding skills, minimum of 50wpm typing speed.

4. Demonstrated ability to work in a client-oriented setting.

5. Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate schedules and diaries.

6. Demonstrated administrative skills,



including record keeping, reporting, cash handling.

7. Demonstrated reception skills, including the ability to answer telephone calls in a polite and efficient manner.

8. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic team environment.

9. Demonstrated ability to work with, and empathy for a diverse client base

10. Proven interpersonal skills, incorporating both written and verbal communication.

11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

DESIRABLE:

1. Demonstrated ability to be innovative within scope of work area.

2. Understanding the impact of trauma.

3. Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

4. The ability to be flexible with working hours and location.
