About The Role

The SkyWay Joint Venture (BMD & CPB Contractors) is delivering the Perth New Runway Project, a major infrastructure initiative involving construction of a recent 3,000m runway and associated taxiway infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile aviation project within a collaborative joint venture environment. As the Senior Safety Advisor you will provide visible leadership and operational direction to drive health & safety performance across the project. You will work closely with the HSE Manager, client representatives and delivery teams to embed best practice safety systems and foster a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation of safety, environmental and quality systems across project sitesWork closely with project and construction teams to provide guidance on safety requirements and best practicesAct as a key point of contact for safety, environmental and quality matters on siteConduct site audits and inspections,



identifying opportunities for improvementAssist in analysing audit findings and supporting system improvementsPrepare reports and documentation for project teams and senior managementSupport the delivery of safety training and education initiativesAssist in preparing work method statements, project plans, and inspection and test plansContribute to continuous improvement of safety systems and processes

About You

Relevant qualification in Work Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (or working towards)Strong communication skills and confidence working with site-based teamsAbility to build relationships and influence positive safety behavioursGood attention to detail and organisational skillsProactive approach with a willingness to learn and get involved on siteUnderstanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements (desirable)Flexibility to travel to project sites as required
