About the role:
Hygain is looking for an experienced Truck Driver with a Multi Combination Licence to join our warehouse team on a full-time basis. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are delivered to the highest quality. This role will require you to deliver equine feed locally and long distance in Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure operation of a MC truck for deliveries across Victoria both locally and regionally
- Capability to drive across varying road conditions
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle meets road safety standards
- Always Comply with Hygain’s safety standards and CoR requirements
- Communicate effectively with the operations team and clients, providing updates as required
- Manage required documentation, including logbooks and delivery paperwork
- Report any issues or incidents to the management team promptly
About you
To succeed in the role, you will require:
- Current unrestricted MC licence is essential
- 3+ years MC driving experience
- Good load restraint skills
- Solid driving history and ability to work autonomously
- A good understanding of Chain of Responsibility
- Strong knowledge of road transport legislation
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with Victorian roads
- Have excellent verbal and written skills
- Be reliable and motivated to succeed
- Be physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks with the ability to lift up to 20kg
- Can do attitude with a team focus
- A forklift licence is desirable
