Are you an organised, detail-focused professional with experience in quality, compliance, safeguarding, risk or WHS?
Orana is seeking two Quality & Safeguarding Compliance Administrators to join our team.
These are two newly created positions supporting different areas of the organisation:
- Quality & Safeguarding Compliance Administrator – Community Services
Supporting Orana's Community Services division, with a strong focus on NDIS compliance, safeguarding, participant incidents, complaints, risk management and quality assurance.
- Quality & Safeguarding Compliance Administrator – Commercial & Corporate
Supporting Orana's Commercial and Corporate operations, with a broader focus on NDIS compliance, quality systems, auditing, WHS, risk management and continuous improvement, including quality requirements across production and business services.
While the focus of each position is different, both roles play an important part in ensuring Orana meets its legislative, regulatory, contractual and organisational obligations.
About the roles
Both positions provide administrative and operational support across quality, compliance, safeguarding, risk, auditing, WHS and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with managers and operational teams to monitor compliance, identify areas for improvement, coordinate audits, review incidents and follow up corrective actions.
Quality & Safeguarding Compliance Administrator – Community Services
In this role, your focus will include:
- Monitoring compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
- Coordinating NDIS reportable incidents and associated notifications.
- Reviewing participant incidents, complaints, investigations and safeguarding matters.
- Supporting participant risk assessments and safeguarding processes.
- Monitoring participant records and mandatory documentation.
- Coordinating internal quality audits across Community Services.
- Preparing documentation and evidence for external accreditation and certification audits.
- Maintaining compliance registers, licences, permits and quality documentation.
- Monitoring corrective and preventative actions.
- Identifying trends in incidents, complaints, safeguarding matters and participant outcomes.
- Supporting managers to implement corrective actions and improve compliance outcomes.
- Contributing to quality, compliance and WHS reporting for Orana leadership.
Quality & Safeguarding Compliance Administrator – Commercial & Corporate
In this role, your focus will include:
- Monitoring compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
- Maintaining compliance registers, schedules, action plans and reporting systems.
- Conducting compliance reviews, file audits and spot checks.
- Supporting quality management systems across Commercial and Business Services, including ISO, HACCP, Kosher and customer-specific requirements.
- Coordinating internal quality audits across production and business service sites.
- Preparing documentation and evidence for external accreditation and certification audits.
- Monitoring production compliance registers, licences, permits and quality documentation.
- Monitoring corrective and preventative actions arising from audits, inspections and feedback.
- Supporting WHS compliance across manufacturing, warehousing and production environments.
- Assisting with contractor compliance, equipment records and site inspections.
- Supporting NDIS compliance, safeguarding and participant-related compliance activities where relevant.
- Analysing compliance, incident and quality trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Working with operational leaders to implement corrective actions and strengthen compliance.
- Contributing to quality, compliance and WHS reporting for Orana leadership.
About you
For both positions, we are looking for someone who is organised, analytical and proactive, with the confidence to work with managers and operational teams to support strong compliance outcomes.
You will ideally have:
- Experience in quality, compliance, safeguarding, risk, WHS, auditing or a related field.
- Experience working within a regulated environment.
- Robust administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Experience undertaking audits, compliance reviews or quality assurance activities.
- The ability to analyse information, identify trends and follow up actions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Confidence working with sensitive information, incidents,
complaints and compliance matters.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and reporting systems.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, safety, quality and accountability.

Essential requirements
Successful applicants will be required to have:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Certificate.
- Working with Children Check, where required.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Willingness to use your own vehicle for Orana business where required.
A current First Aid Certificate is desirable.
Both positions may require occasional work outside normal business hours and travel to Orana sites. Occasional regional travel, including overnight stays, may be required.
Which opportunity is right for you?
