Campbell Transport has been operating across Western Australia for over 20 years, with logistics operations throughout the state. We specialise in bulk haulage across the mining and agricultural sectors, as well as general freight, and continue to grow as one of WA’s leading transport and logistics companies.

Due to our continued growth, our Geraldton Port facility is seeking an experienced Operator Maintainer to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our fixed plant.

The Deal

- Conduct daily inspections of fixed plant and equipment.

- Carry out basic maintenance of chutes, scrapers and vibrating screens.

- Oversee and assist contractors and external resources working on site.

- Troubleshoot and work through fixed plant issues, including belt tracking, chute blockages and breakdowns.

- Complete plant clean-up duties, including shovelling, scraping and sweeping as required.

- Assist with preparing loaders and excavators for operation.

- Assist with the unloading of road trains.

- Identify and report maintenance, safety and operational issues as required.

- Working an 8/6, day shift only.

What We Need From You





- Mechanical Fitting trade qualification highly desirable.

- Previous experience operating and maintaining fixed plant.

- Confined Space and Working at Heights training.

- Skid Steer/Bobcat experience desirable but not essential.

- Basic computer skills, including Outlook and Word, with a willingness to learn plant operating systems.

- Understanding of isolation procedures and incident reporting.

- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.

- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.

- Strong safety awareness and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.

- Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience operating and maintaining fixed plant, ideally within the transport, mining, agricultural or bulk handling industries.

You will be a safety-focused, hands-on team player who can work independently, communicate effectively with contractors and colleagues, and take ownership of the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the plant.
