The exciting opportunity

- Permanent part-time role working 4 days a week from 9am – 5pm
- Oversee the lifestyle program at our 61-bed Grafton aged care home
- Plan and deliver activity programs that cater to residents’ needs and preferences
- Give one-on-one assistance to residents enabling them to take part in social events
- Support residents with mobility, nutrition and hydration management, and meaningful activities that promote wellbeing
- Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and staff
- Complete comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect resident’s care

About you

- Experience as a Lifestyle Officer or Personal Care Worker in residential aged care
- Motivated, compassionate, comfortable using IT for documentation, excellent communication skills, and able to build solid rapport with residents
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is highly regarded
- Full driver's license and unlimited working rights in Australia is essential
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and flu vaccination, or willingness to obtain
