About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Storesperson to join our warehouse team. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of stock while maintaining a safe, organised, and productive warehouse environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently;
- Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries against purchase orders;
- Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and consignments;
- Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely;
- Organising and storing stock in designated warehouse locations;
- Conducting stock takes and reporting inventory discrepancies;
- Assisting with container unloading and palletising stock for storage;
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment;
- Identifying and reporting safety hazards or operational issues;
- Working collaboratively with warehouse and office staff to achieve business objectives; and
- Undertaking other warehouse duties as required.
About You
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment (Desirable);
- Current Forklift Licence (Desirable);
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks;
- Robust work ethic with a positive, team-focused attitude;
- Basic computer skills and confidence using warehouse systems;
- Experience using Pronto software (advantageous); and
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
