Warren District Transport is a well-established, family-owned transport company operating from Canning Vale, Donnybrook, and Manjimup. We deliver a wide range of transport solutions across Western Australia, including fresh produce logistics, refrigerated freight, sea and rail container transport.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated HC Truck Driver / Forklift Driver to join our night shift team based at our Canning Vale Depot.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role combining HC vehicle driving duties with forklift operations. Working as part of our night operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring freight is unloaded, checked, and prepared efficiently for distribution.

The role will also include performing deliveries and freight movements to major retail distribution centres and port facilities, ensuring freight is handled safely, accurately, and delivered on time.

Shift Details:

- Full-time permanent position

- Afternoon / Night shift

- Weekend work required on a rostered basis

Key Responsibilities

- Safely load and unload trucks using a forklift

- Operate HC vehicles as required

- Unload freight at Perth Markets and the Canning Vale depot

- Perform deliveries and freight movements to retail distribution centres

- Undertake container transport between Perth Depot and Fremantle Port facilities

- Check freight against consignment notes and delivery paperwork





- Ensure freight is handled safely and accurately

- Maintain a clean and organised work area

- Work effectively both independently and within a team environment

- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and transport regulations

- Be available to work weekend shifts as required on a rostered basis

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current HC (Heavy Combination) Licence

- Current LF Forklift Licence

- Experience with safely loading and unloading trucks

- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

- Commitment to workplace health and safety standards

Highly Regarded:

- Current MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)

- Experience with container transport and port operations

- Experience in refrigerated transport

- Fresh produce and distribution centre experience

Candidates who hold a current MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) will be highly regarded, with additional port allowances available.
