Unilift is seeking an experienced Storeman / Labourer to join our team on a full-time basis in Orange, NSW. This role is pivotal to our warehousing and distribution operations, ensuring efficient storage, organisation and movement of goods throughout our facility. You will be responsible for maintaining our warehouse to the highest standards whilst supporting the smooth flow of products to our customers. This is a hands-on position that requires physical capability, attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Receiving, unloading and inspecting incoming goods to verify accuracy against documentation
- Organising and storing products in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage methods
- Picking and packing orders according to customer specifications and delivery requirements
- Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock takes and audits
- Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Loading goods onto delivery vehicles whilst ensuring proper securing and protection of products
- Following established procedures and company policies to maintain operational efficiency
- Supporting the warehouse team to meet performance targets and delivery deadlines
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Storeman, Labourer or in a similar warehouse role within the manufacturing, transport or logistics sector
- Current or ability to obtain relevant forklift certification and licences for warehouse equipment operation
- Strong physical capability to lift, carry and move goods regularly throughout shifts
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy when recording inventory and processing orders
- A genuine commitment to workplace health and safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Reliability and a strong attendance record
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (preferred)
