About the opportunity:

Join the RSPCA South Australia retail team and be part of something exciting from the very beginning. We are seeking a passionate and driven Op Shop Store Manager to lead our brand-new Angle Vale Op Shop, opening soon on a permanent full-time basis.

Designed to offer a unique thrift boutique shopping experience, our new Angle Vale store will combine the charm of sustainable shopping with a carefully curated selection of quality pre-loved items. Customers can expect to discover affordable treasures, including fashion, designer labels, homewares, books, accessories, and one-of-a-kind finds in a welcoming and stylish retail environment.

Working closely with the Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and inspiring and supporting our dedicated volunteer team.

About you:





You are an enthusiastic and customer-focused retail leader with a passion for creating exceptional shopping experiences. You thrive in a hands-on workplace, enjoy leading by example, and take pride in building a welcoming and engaging store atmosphere for customers, volunteers, and team members alike. With robust organisational skills and a keen eye for visual merchandising, you can confidently balance competing priorities while maintaining high standards across all aspects of store operations.

As our successful candidate, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience (2+ years preferred) in a retail leadership or management role.

- Proven ability to drive sales growth, manage budgets, achieve financial targets, and contribute to overall store profitability.

- Experience analysing sales performance, managing costs, and identifying opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.

- Experience working within a volunteer-based environment (desirable).

- A current National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).

- Availability to work weekends and flexibility to support the operational needs of the store.
