About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Casual Reception Team Members to join our teams at Abode Tuggeranong and Abode Kingston.

This is an exciting opportunity for customer-focused hospitality professionals who enjoy providing exceptional service and are looking for the flexibility to work across two of our Canberra locations.

Skills Required

- Dynamic, vibrant, confident and qualified personality
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hotel Front Office operation, with exposure to both front desk and reservations procedures desired but not essential
- Previous leadership or similar experience is highly desirable




- Excellent customer relations, accounting/mathematical skills, problem-solving, decision-making and time-management skills
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, conflicting deadlines and varying guest situations
- High standard of personal presentation
- Previous experience using a Property Management System, preferably Opera, is desirable
- Strong local knowledge of Canberra and surrounding regions is highly desirable but not essential
- A current full Australian driver's licence is highly desirable but not essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia
