Motor Mechanic – Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto Tapping

Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto Tapping is looking for an experienced, qualified and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team. About the Role

Working at Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto Tapping, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical repairs and servicing while maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship and customer service.

You’ll work across a range of passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles and 4WDs, with duties including but not limited to:

- General mechanical repairs and maintenance

- Vehicle servicing and inspections

- Mechanical fault finding and diagnosis

- Engine management diagnosis

- Brake and suspension repairs

- Parts identification and ordering

- Providing customers with clear vehicle diagnosis and repair recommendations, including video reporting

- Limited tyre fitting & wheel alignments

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop

About You

We’re looking for a mechanic who is professional, reliable, capable and takes genuine pride in their work.

You’ll have solid knowledge across a variety of vehicle makes and models, excellent attention to detail and the ability to confidently diagnose and repair vehicles to a high standard.

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- A recognised Motor Mechanic Trade Qualification

- Sound mechanical and diagnostic experience

- Experience working on passenger, light commercial and 4WD vehicles

- The ability to work independently and effectively manage your time

- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

- A professional, punctual and responsible attitude

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

- The ability to follow HSE policies and procedures

- A current Australian manual driver's licence

- Wheel alignment experience desirable — training can be provided
