We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Gardener to join the team at Fremantle Village Caravan Park. This full-time role is based in South Fremantle, WA 6162 and will be responsible for maintaining the gardens and landscaping of our thriving Caravan Park.
What you'll be doing
- Performing regular garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, weeding and mulching
- Caring for and nurturing a variety of plants, trees and shrubs
- Identifying and treating pests and diseases affecting the garden
- Maintaining garden equipment and tools in valuable working order
- Assisting with the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems
- Collaborating with the wider facilities team to ensure the grounds are well-presented
- Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- At least 2-3 years' experience as a professional gardener or horticulturist
- Strong knowledge of plant types,
care and maintenance
- Ability to operate a range of gardening equipment and machinery
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
